Welcome to Discovery Cove, an exquisite tropical island paradise. Restricted to a capacity of about 1300 guests a day, it’s a rare opportunity to set your own pace and relax away from the hustle and bustle of traditional attractions.
Swim with a dolphin, snorkel amongst tropical fish, glide with rays and relax on white sand beaches. Hand feed exotic birds in the colourful aviary, paddle along the crystal clear tropical river and soak up every moment of this blissful day. Put away your watch, kick off your shoes, and enjoy our indulgent experience to the full.

Dolphin Lagoon (Swim with Dolphins)
The dolphin swim experience is the centrepiece of your visit. You’ll begin by receiving an introduction to these beautiful animals in a secluded cabana. Then, with one of our trainers, you’ll head down to the Dolphin Lagoon in groups of no more than eight, into the shallow turquoise waters to start your dolphin swim experience. Here, you’ll meet and play with a dolphin for 30 minutes, getting to know each other through hugs, kisses, rubdowns and, ultimately, a one-on-one swim together through the lagoon.
Freshwater Oasis
Opening at Discovery Cove this spring is Freshwater Oasis, an all-new attraction featuring wading adventures and face-to-face encounters with playful otters and curious marmosets. Designed with a rainforest canopy above and sparkling-clear springs below, Freshwater Oasis is a natural fit within Discovery Cove’s tropical atmosphere. Freshwater Oasis is included with admission to Discovery Cove, an all-inclusive tropical getaway and the only place to experience the most exciting animal encounters the world has to offer.
Free-Flight Aviary
Just beyond a spectacular waterfall, you’ll find a series of towering Free-Flight Aviaries. Here, you can soak in all of the sights and sounds as you encounter hundreds of tropical birds nose-to-beak while they feed right out of your hand.
Laguna Grill®
Take full advantage of our all-inclusive package and dine at Laguna Grill®. This is the place to come and enjoy a leisurely continental breakfast and our sumptuous buffet lunch, come in and eat light or dive right in!

Along with use of a mask, snorkel, wetsuit/vest, towels, lockers, beach umbrellas, sun loungers and hammocks, all day self parking, a breakfast, sumptuos buffet lunch and all drinks and snacks are included throughout the day.
You'll also receive a pass to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica which is valid for 14 consecutive days admission before or after your visit to Discovery Cove.
Guests of all ages are welcomed at Discovery Cove. Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who also is participating in the dolphin swim experience. Those aged between 3-5 can book a Non-Swim Package. Children under the age of 3 are free, but must still be noted on the reservation.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Why do I have to select a date?
A: Discovery Cove limits visitors to just a 1300 per day all dates are sold at a first come first served basis. Once a date is booked Theme Park Tickets Direct requests your chosen date with the park once confirmed by Discovery Cove your visit is secured.
Q: Why do you ask for alternative dates?
A: As Discovery Cove can sell out quickly we ask our customer to supply alternative dates in case their first choice is not available, the more dates you can offer the quicker we can confirm your visit.
Q: How long is the dolphin swim?
A: The swim will consist of a 30 minute introduction with the trainers and a 30 minute group session with the dolphins. This will be followed by an optional 30 minute debrief for any questions.
Q: I'm not a very strong swimmer, does that mean I can't swim with the dolphins?
A: Not at all, Discovery Cove are happy to supply life jackets to anyone who feels they may require one.
Q: What age do I have to be?
A: There are no age restrictions for entry in to Discovery Cove. To swim with a dolphin guest must be a minimum of 6 years old. Infants aged 0-2 can enter the park free of charge, children aged 3-5 should purchase non swim tickets.
Q: What time should I get to Discovery Cove?
A: Discovery Cove opens at 9am, however check in begins at 8am. Orlando Attraction Tickets recommends getting to Discovery Cove as early as you can to take full advantage of one of Florida's best attractions.
