Theme Park Info
PortAventura® comprises 5 individual lands each uniquely themed but with the same essential ingredients - entertainment and fun. Mediterrania evokes a charming Mediterranean village complete with cobbled street, quaint shops and pavement cafes around a picturesque lake, which is the focal point for the nightly Fiestaventura fireworks and laser spectacular.
Polynesia is a world of tropical palm trees and waterfalls with a host of different plant species. There are some thrilling water rides including Tutuki Splash, Kontiki Wave and Sea Odessey and there is wonderful daily show featuring authentic South Pacific hula dancers.
The colourful land of Mexico is a tribute to the country's ancient Mayan and Aztec cultures and is a world of fantasy and adventure with dragons, serpents and hidden treasures. One of the most exciting attractions the Templo del Fuego utilises the largest amount of fire ever used in an indoor attraction. The heat continues with a variety of spicy dishes in La Cantina restaurant, which can be enjoyed to the accompaniment of a Mariachi band. The Far West is the biggest land in the park with a Wild West setting and some true cowboy action as a brave soldier holds off an outlaw attack on Fort Frenzee and the entertainment in the local saloon is a lively Can-Can show.
There are thrills and spills a-plenty on the Tomahawk and Stampida roller coasters and just try staying dry on the Grand Canyon Rapids or Silver River Flume. In China you can immerse yourself into a strict ethical culture bound by fantasy and magic and preserve your honour against the evil spirit of the Dragon Khan. In the five lands of PortAventura® there are rides, attractions and shows for all ages together with a great selection of restaurants and shops ensuring fun for all the family.
